What you can build

Real widgets, not mockups of a single layout. Each one is a screen you can stand up from Gong.

  • Calls recorded so far in a trailing window, labeled recorded so far because Gong indexes after processing.
  • Inbound vs outbound, and internal vs external, as counts.
  • A rep leaderboard by calls as host, calls attended, or scorecards filled. Display names only.
  • Daily, weekly, or monthly activity through yesterday in the company time zone.
  • Scorecards completed, by review date or call date.
  • A celebration when the team hits a scorecard or call-volume mark.

What you can pull from Gong

Dance Party reads Gong through Gong's own API, read-only. Transcripts, recordings, participants, and call titles are never requested.

  • Calls recorded
Count and total minutes over 1 to 90 days. Appear after Gong finishes processing, so tiles say recorded so far.
  • Calls by direction
Inbound vs outbound, and internal vs external, as counts from the same call list.
  • Workspaces
Workspace id and name, so a board can be scoped to one workspace.

Activity & coaching

API docs ↗
  • Activity leaderboard
Reps ranked by a counter such as callsAsHost, callsAttended, or callsScorecardsFilled. Complete days through yesterday.
  • Activity trend
The same counters rolled up DAILY, WEEKLY, or MONTHLY, through yesterday in the company time zone.
  • Scorecards summary
Scorecards completed in the window, grouped by review date or call date.

Assign the dashboard to a screen. It goes live on the display.

Read-only, always. Gong API keys have no scopes, so Dance Party only calls the five read operations: workspaces, call counts, activity, trends, and scorecards. It never requests transcripts, recordings, participants, or call titles, and it never uploads calls or edits users. Revoke the key in Gong at any time.

Frequently asked questions

Can I show a Gong dashboard on a TV?

Yes. Connect Gong, describe the dashboard, and your AI builds it. It runs on an Apple TV, a native tvOS app, on any office display. Always on, and it refreshes on its own.

Is the Gong connection read-only?

Yes. Gong keys cannot be scoped, so Dance Party only calls five read operations. It never uploads calls, requests transcripts or recordings, or edits users, libraries, or scorecards.

Does it play recordings or show who was on the call?

No. Screens show call counts, direction splits, rep activity by display name, trends, and scorecard totals. Participants, customer names, titles, and media URLs are never requested.

Why does a widget say recorded so far?

Gong makes a call queryable after it finishes processing, so a count keyed on start time would miss late calls. The tile re-reads the whole window and labels it recorded so far.

Do I need to build the dashboard myself?

No. You paste an access key and secret once, describe what you want, and your AI builds the dashboard and deploys it to a screen.
