Introduction

Dance Party (“Dance Party,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is operated by Outergy Group, LLC. We provide a B2B software platform that displays live data dashboards on office Apple TV displays, with an embedded AI builder called “DJ Agent” for creating those dashboards. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the danceparty.ai website, web dashboard, and connected Apple TV apps (collectively, the “Service”).

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company/workspace name, and authentication credentials.
  • Workspace and configuration data: Information about your organization, including team members and roles, screen and device configurations, dashboards, and widget settings.
  • Integration data: When you connect a third-party data source (such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack, GitHub, Notion, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, or Google Calendar), we receive the data you authorize us to display. These integrations are read-only. We request access only to read data for display on your screens, and we store the resulting OAuth access tokens securely.
  • AI provider API keys (BYOK):If you choose to connect your own AI model provider API key (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or xAI), we store that key on your behalf so DJ Agent can call the provider on your account. See “Your AI provider keys and third-party AI providers” below.
  • DJ Agent content: The prompts, instructions, and dashboard content you provide to the DJ Agent builder, and the dashboards it produces.
  • Usage data: Information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and activity logs.
  • Device information: Information about devices running our apps, including device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers used for screen pairing.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Build and render dashboards and display them on your connected screens
  • Run the DJ Agent builder, including routing your prompts to the AI provider you select
  • Read and display data from the integrations you connect
  • Process account registration and manage your subscription
  • Send technical notices, updates, and support messages
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests
  • Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the Service
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats

Google user data and Limited Use

When you connect a Google service (Google Sheets, Google Analytics, or Google Calendar), Dance Party requests read-onlyaccess and uses that data solely to display the dashboards you build — never for advertising, never sold, and not transferred to others except as needed to provide the feature or as required by law. Dance Party’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your AI provider keys and third-party AI providers

The DJ Agent builder is powered by third-party AI model providers. You may connect your own API key from a supported provider, Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google (Gemini), or xAI (Grok), a model known as “bring your own key” (BYOK).

  • Encryption: Your API key is encrypted using AES-256-GCM before it is stored. It is decrypted only server-side at the moment we need to call your chosen provider, and it is never exposed to your browser or to other workspaces.
  • Billed by the provider: When DJ Agent runs on your own key, model usage runs on your provider account and is billed directly to you by that provider. Dance Party does not resell or mark up model usage.
  • Data sent to the provider: To build dashboards, the prompts and content you provide to DJ Agent are sent to the AI provider you select. That data is processed by the provider under their terms and privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any provider whose key you connect.
  • Platform fallback: If you do not connect your own key, DJ Agent may run on a default model arrangement we operate. In that case your prompts are still processed by a third-party AI provider as described above.

Data sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • AI model providers: Prompts and content you submit to DJ Agent are sent to the AI provider you select, as described above.
  • Service providers: With infrastructure and vendor partners who help us operate the Service, including hosting (Vercel), our database and authentication backend (Supabase), and payment processing (Stripe).
  • Within your organization: With other members of your workspace who have been granted access by your administrator.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Data security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive secrets, your AI provider API keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and integration OAuth tokens are stored securely, database row-level security to scope data to your workspace, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you remove an integration or AI provider key, the associated tokens or encrypted key are deleted. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or regulatory purposes.
